Back with Fuji

I didn’t gel with the little RX100 mk 3. I don’t know why for sure. I suspect the fairly inadequate viewfinder put me off. I took it to Lanzarote (of which more soon) but I found both viewfinder and screen were not really visible in the harsh sunlight.

So…I’ve bought a Fuji X100T. It’s trying to annoy me in some ways (slow startup time, occasionally sluggish autofocus), but the quality of the images is excellent. Here are a few for starters.

I’m particularly fond of the “Pro Neg Hi” simulation (the first image here). This one is SOOC.

The second is Classic Chrome, with highlights adjusted with a Lightroom luminosity range adjustment and the third is Provia with a bit more contrast added.
